These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of writinks.com and the tutoring, editing, study-guide, and exam-prep coaching services offered by Writinks ("Writinks," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, booking a session, or otherwise using our services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Writinks connects students with vetted tutors and editors for live tutoring sessions, written feedback on drafts, custom study guides, and exam-prep coaching. Our Services are designed to help you understand course material, improve work you have written yourself, and prepare for exams through your own effort and practice.
To protect your academic standing and ours, Writinks tutors and editors do not, under any circumstance:
If you are looking for a service that will complete coursework or take an exam in your place, Writinks is not that service, and we will decline or terminate any request along those lines.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when booking a session or submitting work for feedback.
You are solely responsible for complying with your institution's academic integrity policies, including any rules about outside tutoring or editing assistance. We encourage you to review your school's policy before booking. Writinks reserves the right to refuse or cancel any request that asks a tutor to complete work or assessments on your behalf.
Session and plan fees are billed at the time of booking or on your plan's renewal date. Prices are listed on our site and are subject to change with notice. You authorize us to charge your provided payment method for all fees incurred under your account.
Cancellation and refund terms are described in our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
You agree not to use the Services to harass tutors or staff, share your account with others, submit plagiarized or fraudulent material for feedback, or attempt to use the platform for any purpose other than legitimate academic support.
All content on writinks.com, including our logo, design, and written materials, is owned by Writinks or its licensors. Feedback, notes, and study guides we provide are for your personal academic use and may not be resold or redistributed.
The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee specific grades, exam outcomes, or admission decisions, as these depend on factors outside our control, including your own effort and your institution's standards.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Writinks will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms, including the prohibition on requesting completed coursework or exam-taking. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting support.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by your local consumer protection laws.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the revised Terms here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
